KFC US App Update: Version 2026.6.0

KFC rolled out version 2026.6.0 of its US ordering app on June 22, 2026. The update focuses on several core ordering and rewards functions.

Easier rewards redemption. The app now streamlines how users access and use KFC Rewards points. Customers can view available rewards and apply them during checkout with fewer steps. The KFC Rewards program lets users earn points on online orders at participating U.S. locations and redeem them for free fried chicken items.

Smoother checkout. The payment and order submission flow received improvements aimed at reducing friction. Users should encounter fewer interruptions when completing purchases, whether paying by credit card, Apple Pay, or other stored methods.

Smarter store selection. The app's location picker now better identifies the most relevant KFC restaurant based on the user's current location or saved preferences. This change targets faster store selection and more accurate pickup or delivery options.

General reliability improvements. The update includes backend fixes that improve overall app stability during ordering, rewards browsing, and account management.

The app remains free to download on Android via Google Play. Account creation is required to use KFC Rewards, which is available only with online orders at participating U.S. restaurants. The latest version carries a 61.55 MB APK size and has been downloaded over 9.5 million times on Android, with approximately 140,000 downloads in the last 30 days.
