Terms of Use
These Terms set the rules for using PixelTrack and explain the responsibilities that come with access to the service.
By accessing or using PixelTrack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
1. The service
PixelTrack is an independent informational service that monitors selected public Google Play app-listing data and presents app details, historical changes, comparisons, watchlists, and related signals. Features, monitored apps, collection frequency, data fields, and availability may change over time.
PixelTrack is not Google Play, an app marketplace, a security scanner, an investment research provider, or an official record maintained by an app developer.
2. Eligibility and authority
You may use PixelTrack only if you can legally agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes that entity. The service is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required by local law.
3. Permission to use PixelTrack
Subject to these Terms, PixelTrack grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and use the service for lawful personal or internal business research. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use PixelTrack unlawfully, fraudulently, or to violate another person’s rights.
- Interfere with, overload, disrupt, probe, or circumvent the service, its security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
- Use automated means to scrape, bulk-download, mirror, resell, or republish substantial portions of PixelTrack without prior written permission.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract non-public source code, credentials, infrastructure information, or protected data, except where law expressly permits it.
- Submit malicious input, malware, deceptive package identifiers, or requests intended to harass, manipulate, or damage the service or a third party.
- Misrepresent PixelTrack data as official Google or app-developer data, or remove ownership, trademark, or attribution notices.
- Use the service to make automated high-impact decisions about individuals.
5. App submissions and feedback
You may submit a Google Play URL or Android package name for monitoring. You represent that the submission is lawful and does not contain personal, confidential, malicious, or misleading information. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, timing, frequency, permanent monitoring, or public display.
If you send feedback, corrections, or suggestions, you grant PixelTrack a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use them to operate and improve the service without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property.
6. PixelTrack and third-party intellectual property
PixelTrack’s site design, software, original text, organization, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. App names, icons, screenshots, descriptions, trademarks, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. They are displayed for identification, reporting, comparison, commentary, and informational purposes.
“Google,” “Google Play,” Android, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. PixelTrack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or any displayed app developer.
7. Third-party data, links, and services
PixelTrack relies on public third-party sources and infrastructure. Links may lead to Google Play, developer sites, or other services governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party availability, security, content, products, conduct, or privacy practices.
8. Data accuracy and monitoring limits
Automated collection can be delayed, incomplete, localized, reformatted, blocked, or incorrect. Google Play may show different values by country, language, account, device, experiment, or time. A displayed “before” and “after” value reflects observations made by PixelTrack, not necessarily every intermediate state or the exact time a developer made a change.
You are responsible for verifying important information with Google Play, the relevant developer, and other primary sources. See our Disclaimer for additional limitations.
9. Availability and changes
We may add, remove, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of PixelTrack without guaranteeing notice. We may prioritize system integrity, legal compliance, source limitations, cost, security, or product needs. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular monitoring interval, preservation of every historical record, or support for every app.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the limited information processed when you use PixelTrack. The Watchlist is stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and clearing local data when using a shared device.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixelTrack is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and freedom from harmful components. We do not warrant that monitoring will detect every change or that errors will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixelTrack and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or business; or decisions made in reliance on the service, even if advised that such harm was possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, the aggregate liability arising from PixelTrack will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid directly to PixelTrack for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer rights.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, if you use PixelTrack for business purposes, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PixelTrack and its operators from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, your submissions, or your material breach of these Terms. This section does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
14. Enforcement and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect PixelTrack, users, third parties, or legal compliance, including for suspected abuse or a material breach. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—continue after termination.
15. Copyright and rights concerns
If you believe content on PixelTrack infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights, email support@pixeltrack.net with the relevant URL, the work or right involved, your contact details, your relationship to the rights holder, and enough information for us to assess the request. We may ask for verification and may remove or restrict content while reviewing a good-faith report.
16. Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law governs these Terms without overriding mandatory protections that apply where you live. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a regulator, small-claims process, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.
17. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement about your use of PixelTrack unless separate written terms apply.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. We will revise the date above and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
